Greetings for the 10 Year Anniversary

“2016 is a special year for us as the Phorms Campus Berlin Mitte is celebrating its 10th birthday.”

Dear children, pupils, parents, staff, colleagues, friends, alumnae and alumni, cooperation partners and dear interested parties,

Our campus in Mitte has grown rapidly in the past 10 years and is now well established as state-approved private school within the Berlin educational system. Our parents trust us and the Berlin Senat appreciates and supports our work.

Berlin Mitte has become the biggest facility within the Phorms network and we all can be proud of what we have achieved so far!

Of course we won’t stand still and there will be new tasks ahead for our campus in the years to come, in order to continue to develop as a community.

Our core concept is and will remain bilingual education. In an international environment, social interactions with our kids are an incredibly exciting task that we fulfill with great pleasure every day.

However, let us mark this anniversary by reviewing the past years and appreciate our successes. On the following pages, we will examine the rapid development of Phorms and look back at our history. We would like to bring back memories and appreciate greetings, congratulations, memories and little anecdotes about Phorms by current and former parents, teachers, educators, staff and pupils. I wish all of you al lot of fun when browsing through these anniversary pages. You will see that we are doing things differently and I cordially invite you to join us.

Warm regards,

Marc Vehlow
Former Head of School

Dear parents, children, pupils, friends, partners and supporters of the Phorms Campus Berlin Mitte,

10 years can be a long time in many ways. For establishing a kindergarten, a primary school, and a secondary school it is, however, a rather short period of time. Remarkable achievements have been made in rendering an ambitious idea into a recognized and well run organization.

I would like to express my warmest gratitude to everyone who has contributed to these achievements, especially the dedicated staff in the educational and administrative departments.

The rapidly growing knowledge and ethical values of our society require us as educational providers to continuously reflect and adapt our practices. We are well-prepared for this and will be able to make constructive development over the decades to come.

Warm regards,

Dr. Carsten Breyde
Former Executive Director of Phorms Education SE
