Barcelona Exchange 2017

Date:
Phorms Mitte has completed another successful student-exchange with peers in Barcelona, and our 10th graders were excellent hosts! After meeting for the first time in Spain last May, it was now our turn to show off Berlin and teach our guests a bit more about German culture.
From September 15th to 22nd we enjoyed a complete activity program including a visit to the Jewish Museum, a bike Tour around Potsdam, a Street Art Workshop, a Treasure Hunt in Berlin, and a visit to KZ Sachsenhausen.
It was time for learning, thinking, practicing a foreign language, and having fun! Through this exchange program, participating students experienced European culture outside the classroom and had the opportunity to practice language in a real context. However, the most important reason, why I am happy to organize this project in Phorms year after year, is to see how exchange partners becomes friends. Hopefully, some of these friendships continue to grow!
