Creativity and Fine Arts

Creativity is the prerequisite for enjoyment and success, both in learning and in planning for later life. For this reason, we take music and arts very seriously.

Music at Phorms schools is taught by specially-trained teachers. Our specialist classrooms are well-equipped with musical instruments. All our students learn to read music and to play a simple instrument. Since the start of the 2015/2016 school year, all of our students from Year 3 onwards have one hour of choir per week.

We provide a wide range of optional activities and afternoon clubs to foster creativity and musicality. The concerts and exhibitions we stage form an integral part of school life, and we also arrange visits to theatres, concerts and museums.
