On July 4th, we experienced a very special moment in our school’s history – and at the same time gave birth to a new tradition: For the first time, we celebrated the Abitur ceremony and Abitur ball separately, giving each of these meaningful events the space and attention they truly deserve.
Under radiant skies, our 42 graduates gathered with their families, siblings, godparents, friends, and supporters in front of the theatre hall for a festive welcome and many beautiful photo memories.
Afterward, we experienced a warm, personal, and moving ceremony in the theatre hall, as we looked back together on the graduates' school years – with emotional speeches, photo and video presentations, and musical contributions from both our school band and several of the graduates.
It was a wonderfully fitting and heartfelt way to begin saying farewell to this significant chapter – celebratory, appreciative, and full of spirit. The symbolic moment when graduation caps were tossed into the air beautifully rounded off this memorable evening.
A very special thank you goes to all parents of Year 12: Thank you for the trust you placed in us by allowing us to accompany your child – and for walking this path together with us. Your daughters and sons are now leaving our school as reflective, confident, curious, responsible, and open-minded young adults, ready to find their place in the world and courageously take their next steps. We are proud of them – and grateful for your support.
The festive Abitur Ball last Friday brought this special chapter to a stylish close – with dancing, conversation, and joyful celebration. A tradition we are absolutely committed to continuing!
