In January, our three teams had their first tournament day in the ALBA Grundschulliga - an exciting and successful start to the season! For many of the children, it was their first real tournament and the excitement was great.

The girls from Years 1 to 3 kicked things off. They showed a lot of commitment, team spirit and fun. They won three games, only losing narrowly to the team from the Grundschule am Falkplatz.

Then it was the turn of the boys from Years 1 to 3. They also played really well and only lost the last game to win the tournament in the last second - nevertheless a great performance and an exciting game for everyone.

Finally, our 4th to 6th graders traveled to Charlottenburg. We competed with a mixed team - and spontaneously we also jumped into the girls' tournament so that we were involved in two tournaments at the same time. In both tournaments, we were only beaten by one team and finished in 2nd place.

Our teams took second place in all four tournaments. This is particularly nice because the teams were a mixed bag and still played really well together. The children showed team spirit, enjoyed playing and had a lot of fun!

We are already looking forward to the next tournaments and are proud of all the children who are so enthusiastic.
